We believe that building better bike parking is essential for improving urban mobility and reduce vehicle emissions. We are passionate about bikes and want to make the experience open to all.   • Salary: $75,000-$85,000 annually

    Other Compensation: $800 per month healthcare reimbursement, Flexible Vacation policy, Hybrid WFH/Office, One month fully remote work optional.

    Description: Oonee is looking for an experienced professional who will serve as Chief of Staff for a rapidly growing startup. Ideal candidates are exacting project managers, exude versatility, and will be able to both formulate and implement organizational strategic goals.

    Specific Responsibilities will include:

    • Project Management: Managing a growing team of staff to ensure the implementation of key strategic goals on a day by day basis.

    • Financial & Administrative Management: Support budgeting, finance tracking & reporting. Optimize administrative procedures and processes across the growing organization, including talent acquisition.

    • Key CEO Priorities: Working with the Chief Executive Officer to support and advance his work and strategic priorities, including investor relations and Board management.

    Other Responsibilities will depend on the skills and past experience of the candidate and may include:

    • Business Development

    • Product Development

    • Government Relations

    • People Operations

    The ideal candidate will have the following traits:

    • Experience: Individuals with at least 5 years experience, and at least 2 years in a growing start-up are preferred. In addition to working within industry, ideal candidates will have direct experience managing teams of other professionals to achieve organizational goals.

    • Start-up Operations: You have at least 2 years of experience in working with private sector actors to deliver projects. Start-up and emerging enterprise experience is also ideal.

    • Work in or with Public Sector: You have at least 1 year of experience working either in a government agency or partnering with a public sector actor to implement projects or launch a product.

    • Project and/or Contract Management: You have a least 1 year of experience managing complex projects, ideally that involve government stakeholders. Experience managing contracts in excess of $500K is a big plus.

    • Skills & Proficiencies: Ideal candidates will own a versatile set of skills that can be leveraged to achieve a variety of organization goals.


    Must haves - the ideal candidate comes to the table with these skills:

    • Project Management: You are a skilled project manager, with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and customers. You can coordinate multiple work streams and have no issue holding people accountable.

    • Communications: Candidates should be strong writers & communicators with specific experience in any of: responding to government RFPs, creating board or pitch decks, writing client proposals, etc.

    Nice to haves - the ideal candidate has one or more other skills that will expand the Oonee team’s organizational capacity:

    • Data Analysis: Experience analyzing large datasets, building KPI tracking tools or dashboards, with advanced Excel, Google Sheets skills, and at least intermediate SQL or Python skills.

    • Strategic Finance / Financial Planning: Experience building budgets, financial projections, P&Ls.

    • Community Relations & Organizing: Experience in working with communities to drive support for organizational goals and special projects.

    • People Operations: Experience handling organizational growth work in HR operations, people management, recruiting, benefits, etc.

  • Location: Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Jersey City

    Compensation: Starting at $22/hour with potential to transition to full-time salaried

    Commitment: Starting at 15-20 hours per week. Possibility to transition to full-time position pending strong performance and company needs

    About Oonee: Be part of building the future of urban mobility! Oonee is a Brooklyn-based startup that operates free secure bike parking for the public. We are currently operating in New York City and Jersey City with dozens of stations slated to open in the coming year.

    Role:

    As operations associate, you’ll be responsible for in-person operations, quality assurance of Oonee stations and user success. The roll is divided into several buckets:

    (a) Operations and Quality Assurance: Conducting weekly quality assurance reports and completing taking part in special operations projects. Assisting with development and implementation of emergency response protocols to repairs, damage, and vandalism

    (b) User Success and Outreach: Ensuring key performance indicators are met regarding usage and user satisfaction. Interacting with our community of users and ensuring they are satisfied with their experience. Being a strong representative of Oonee to our partners and property owners. Managing user sign up and onboarding process. Overseeing all aspects of user success. Occasional usage data collection and analysis to inform operations and user outreach decisions.

    (c) Cleaning & Maintenance: Regularly scheduled maintenance of the pod including cleaning, beautification. As-needed and seasonal tasks such as watering the rooftop plants, snow removal and repairs.

    (d) Beta Testing: Testing, collecting data, and analyzing efficacy of product features, technology.

  • Location: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City

    Compensation: $64,000-$85,000 and stock options

    Commitment: Full Time

    Role: We’re looking for a general manager to oversee the daily operations at our growing network of facilities in New York & New Jersey. The General Manager will be responsible for the following:

    Quality Assurance & Daily Operations: Ensuring that each of our facilities are providing the best possible user experience.

    On a day to day basis this includes working with the operations team to resolve conditions (breakdowns, sanitation issues etc). More broadly, the general manager will be responsible for implementing a preventative maintenance and quality control program that optimizes the effectiveness of our deployments.

    Strategic Planning: The General Manager will develop the Operations Team to support additional growth in the network.

    Expansion & Implementation: The General Manager will oversee installation and implementation of new facilities. This work includes working with local governments and property owners to place our facilities as well as coordinating with utilities and other vendors during the planning process.

    Special Projects: The General Manager will have the opportunity to take on special projects on an as needed basis.

    External Communications: The General Manager will take an active role in working with government and community officials to ensure that the infrastructure is continuing to meet or exceed expectations.

    About Oonee: We are a fast growing Brooklyn based startup that is building region-wide networks of equitable micro-mobility infrastructure (i.e. bike parking, charging). We are currently in the process of expanding in New York City and Hudson County, New Jersey. We expect to have more than 15 stations in operation by mid 2023 with 30 online by the end of the year.
